VFS Animation and Visual Effects

In VFS's Animation & Visual Effects programs, you learn to create life out of thin air. You'll study character, environment, and motion, and how they all serve the larger story. You'll work in a studio setting, with instructors who are professionals and pioneers in their field, so you're prepared to be part of a production team when you graduate. The creation of a professional reel/film means you can hit the ground running.

In Animation & Visual Effects at VFS, you learn from the pros. Department Head Alastair Macleod is a veteran of the animation and visual effects industries who has served as Animation and Motion Capture Supervisor on films like Matrix: Revolutions, Matrix: Reloaded, and Barnyard, as well as acting as motion editor on Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

VFS Animation & Visual Effects graduates are Oscar and Emmy winners. Grads worked on films like The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Transformers, Twilight, and WALL-E, TV series like Battlestar Galactica, Family Guy, Lost, and SpongeBob SquarePants, and video games like Bioshock 2, Gears of War, Left 4 Dead, and World of Warcraft.
