VFS Animation and Visual Effects

In VFS's Animation & Visual Effects programs, you learn to create life out of thin air. You'll study character, environment, and motion, and how they all serve the larger story. You'll work in a studio setting, with instructors who are professionals and pioneers in their field, so you're prepared to be part of a production team when you graduate. The creation of a professional reel/film means you can hit the ground running.

In Animation & Visual Effects at VFS, you learn from the pros. Department Head Alastair Macleod is a veteran of the animation and visual effects industries who has served as Animation and Motion Capture Supervisor on films like Matrix: Revolutions, Matrix: Reloaded, and Barnyard, as well as acting as motion editor on Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

VFS Animation & Visual Effects graduates are Oscar and Emmy winners. Grads worked on films like Ant Bully,
Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix, Charlotte's Web, Transformers, Happy Feet, Pirates of the Caribbean,
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, and
Ice Age 2, and TV series like Battlestar Galactica, Lost, King of the Hill, Alias, and Family Guy.
