Channel Frederator, “the world’s original cartoon podcast,” has singled out 3D’s Mark Shirra for his A Great Big Robot from Outer Space Ate My Homework as one of the site’s “best of 2007 so far” picks.
This is just one in a long line of kudos for Mark’s film – In 2006, it screened at SIGGRAPH, won a Leo, and Mark was subsequently hired by Pixar.
Frederator’s Jeaux Janovsky says of Robot: “What every little kid dreams will happen one day.” We don’t think he was talking about Mark’s career – but it’d still be right on the money.
