The competition is fierce, so now's the time to make sure you stand out. Collect all the material that will support your application and prove just how creative you are. Here's a just few examples of the possibilities, but we encourage you to come up with your own ideas:

• Make a video of yourself performing a scene from your favourite movie
• Write a complete story (beginning, middle, and end) short enough to fit on a postcard
• Get as many magazines as possible and create a collage that captures the essence of your favourite movie (no scenes from the movie allowed)
• Take a sketchbook on public transit for a day and draw what you see
• Make a short documentary film about your family
• Create glamorous makeup for a friend (or yourself) and photograph it
• Think of your next family dinner as a live event – make an event plan and take photos
• Design and create a board game, ask some friends to play-test it, and document the results
• Take your camera on a tour and find each letter of the alphabet in everyday places – without photographing actual letters!
• Create a channel on flickr, DeviantArt, YouTube, MySpace, or anywhere else online where you can feature your work
