Dave Warfield, Head of the Game Design department at VFS, says: “It’s very exciting to see our students be recognized by their industry peers. The nominated teams and individuals worked hard in their year here, especially creating their games, and it’s very rewarding for us to see them succeed both critically, with the CAEAA nominations, and professionally, with the career opportunities they are receiving upon graduation.”

Robert Grieve, Head of the Sound Design program, is thrilled and proud of all the VFS Sound Design nominations at the CAEAA.... but not surprised. Says Robert: "This just confirms what I've been saying to students for the last two years since my arrival. If you apply yourself and work hard, the Sound Design Program at VFS, with its superior curriculum and industry professional instructors, is the best course of its kind in the world.”

Numerous VFS alumni and faculty were also recognized for their work in Industry categories.

The winners in the 37 CAEAA categories received an Elan statuette for excellence in their work. The Elans were presented in front of an audience of over 700 people, in an event hosted by the legendary William Shatner.
