Ishkan is one of those rare breeds of emcees that can rock over any beat, say anything, and still sound tight as hell. He has a gift for creative word play and is known among the City Planners as the dude who will try and make slang out of anything. The funny thing is, most of them catch on; similar to his rhymes which will stick in your head after only one or two listens.

Another native of Vancouver Island (Victoria), he once rocked the Victoria scene alongside Moka and long time hiphop veteran Birda Pres, before moving on to again rock with the same dudes in Vancouver.

He has performed with everyone from The Pharcyde to Kool Keith to Isoscoles. At the age of 24 he already has two releases to boast ("Bent, Twisted & Gnarled" and "Cousin Coolout") both which he has sold numerous copies of. Though a little behind in the prolificity department, he has been picking up the pace recently and should have a "12 out before 2000 is up.
